June 2022 Bike Month Events

JUNE 18TH BIKE EVENT POSTPONED DUE TO RAIN

June is Bike Month! Let's get out and ride and explore our community, make new friends, and enjoy our summer. From mural tours to playground tours to bakeries to breweries -- we got you covered! This is a rolling list of events and if you are aware of another one, please let me know!

We also want you to help us find the next bike mayor of your neighbourhood! 

TAKE ACTION: If you haven't sent a letter already, we have $400M on the table from the Federal government. Use this tool to send a letter and help ensure that Edmonton gets our fair share!

And if you haven't already: make sure your bike, chariot, strollers -- register them all on Bike Index!

Bicycle Tour of north papastew 12PM - 3PM

All ages - Join me for a casual tour of papastew community bike ride. Meet at Eleanor & Laurent at Noon and we'll take a casual ride through the ward. Grab a coffee, your groceries, or meet us along the way. Ride at your own pace.

  • 12:00: Meet at Eleanor & Laurent (10926 88 Ave NW)
  • 12:30: Arrive at Sugar and Spiced (Rear, 10334 82 Ave NW)
  • 1:00: Hazeldean Bakery & Playground 9627 66 Ave NW
  • 1:45: Mood Cafe Belgravia
  • 2:30: Buns & Roses, Birch Garden & Parkallen PumpTrack
  • 3:00PM: Fin, departure.

Bikes & Breweries

Voting Age & Over - Join me for a casual tour of papastew breweries. We'll meet at 12:30 at Polar Park (10416 80th Ave) and visit three locations before 4PM.

According to the Canadian Alliance to End Homelessness, we could end homelessnes across canada for $4.4 billion a year for the next decade-- a bargain when we consider homelessness costs the Canadian economy $7 billion each year. Ending homelessness would yield a 2;1 return on investment, let alone the moral imperative.
